AB - Gao Xingjian came to France as an exile in search of the freedom of creation for himself. The creation is the only way for him to confirm his existence as a bilingual writer. Plus, he attaches importance to the personality in anti-ideology works.
In this paper, through creative experiments in five pieces of Gao Xingjian's short novels it is shown that the suggestion of anti-fashion, anti-commercialization, and anti-ideology literature which is free and personal one that he pursues.
