There are different opinions on the origin of "Wu". The purpose of this paper is to sort out and comment on the research on the origin of "Wu" so far, and then agree with the viewpoint that "Wu" comes from the ancient Turkic pronoun Ol from the perspective of pronunciation. At the same time, this paper not only confines the phonetic data to the modern dialect, but also discusses the pronunciation of "Wu" and the reliability of its source by analyzing the development of Ol, the far referential pronoun of Korean and Turkic in Chinese translation. In addition, this paper also introduces the syntactic restriction of Ol, a far referential pronoun of Turkic language, into the process of proof for the first time, so as to further prove the reliability of the source theory of ancient Turkic language
