AB - As humanities have become main area of interest, humanistic resources such as works of arts and authors are regarded as important material of making cultural contents. But making cultural contents must be compatible with the agreement of inhabitants of their own accord. And the purpose and direction of making contents must be turned toward raising the quality of life and enhancing self-confidence.
As written in Book of Rites, if you want to know the good taste, you must eat first, and even if there is an excellent tao, you must learn it completely. Under the uniting knowledge and conduct, this thesis makes the proposal for the making cultural contents of Songgang's Gasa which is conceived in Damyang area. First of all, comparing with the precedent examples such as Tongyoung, Andong, Gyungju, Japan, China, England, Brazil, and Germany several suggestions were selected.
Also, cultural events such as musical, opera, novel, and composition competition using Songgang's Gasa are suggested in order to celebrate Bamboo Expo, Bamboo Festival and 1000th anniversary of Damyang in 2018. Songgang's Gasa was born based on the humanistic tradition and fertile cultural background in Damyang. So be sure to make contents around arbors considering natural surroundings and ecological basis.
Finally, this thesis suggests not only paraphrasing Songgang's Gasa in fine arts, music and drama, but also making various cultural contents aiming at healing and sharing which are in agreement with modern trends by using traditional literary genre such as Chinese poetry, Sijo and Gasa.
