The purpose of this study is to assist librarians in developing a bibliographic tool for the bibliotherapy. Bibliotherapy is a form of psychotherapy in which carefully selected reading materials are used to assist a subject in solving personal problems or for other therapeutic purposes. However, bibliotherapy has rarely been either studied or practiced in Korea. For a bibliographic tool which is called ‘situational bibliography’, a client situation has to be classified by the factors of biological, place and personal relations, type of stress or symptoms. This study, in this regard, is examined related recent researches in the field of psychology or psychoanalysis. Main conclusions made in this study are summarized as follows : The most important factors to classify a client situation in a bibliographic tool are sex, age, home background, personal relations and mental health issues.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the quality of the Serials Union Catalog(UCAT) of KISTI. In examining both MARC records and bibliographic display records of 172 Japanese serials, AACR2R and KORMARC formats were used as the standard rules. Those records were described in the minimum or incomplete level; but had repeated errors in various data fields, which included the incorrect choice of main headings, parallel titles and other titles, the improper use of language codes and related data fields, and the provision of incomplete information, etc. To improve the overall quality of bibliographic database, thorough comprehension and application of cataloging rules and MARC formats are strongly required.

Information Literacy Instruction(ILI) is recognized with essential role of the school library, as information use ability appears with one literacy in knowledge and information society. The successful ILI is necessary teaching and learning model of student’s activities that it provides the various experience, to motivate, to promote positive participation. Consequently, this study is developed to teaching and learning model of student’s activity through Multiple Intelligences which emphasizes to human’s multi dimension and activities.
