AB - 本文旨在確立對現代漢語形容詞從量的角度進行分類時所需要的標准。爲此，本文首先對既有的形容詞分類標准作了回顧與檢討，然後試圖立足於量的觀點對現代漢語形容詞進行分類。
本文對既有的形容詞分類中只是拘執於形容詞與程度副詞的共現情態、從形容詞的[+程度副詞]性質角度分類的觀點所存在的問題作了分析考察，提出並簡單介紹了作爲形容詞量的分類特征的[+性質]、[+狀態]、[+等級性]、[+比較性]、[+對立性]、[距離相似性]等。特別是，根據陳忠(2005)的“距離相似性”，本文認爲:越是靠近名詞的形容詞就越接近帶主觀量的形容詞(性質形容詞)，而越是遠離名詞的形容詞也就越接近於帶客觀量的形容詞(狀態形容詞)；而且認爲這種“距離相似性”也是衡量作爲形容詞意義特征的客觀量與主觀量的一種好辦法。此外，這樣的試圖也使我們得以從新的視角來觀察至今一直被強調的語言的任意性，並有助於我們確認語言的確反映著人類的認知結構的事實。
