AB - The purpose of this study is to explore the literary world of Song(宋) dynasty's funeral orations. It lays on funeral orations of Ou Yangxiu(歐陽修).
The literary merits of Ou Yangxiu’s funeral orations are raised more than before. It depands on the expantion of contents and subject matters and effective rhetoric. He changes a bald style to a flowery style. His funeral orations plays an important role in changes of the prose style. He tries to reform old prose and to write creative works in view of a literary man.
