AB - 据説戰爭､ 疾病､ 飢餓是施加於人類頭上的三種原罪或三個敵人｡ 它們經常在人類歷史上一起出現, 使人類陷入更大的不幸當中, 極大地影響了整個人類社會｡ 戰爭､ 疾病､ 飢餓之間有必然的聯係, 因此它們一起出現並不是偶然的現象｡ 古往今來, 不管哪個國家､ 哪個時代, 無不存在反映戰爭､ 疾病､ 飢餓的文學作品｡本論文關注在中國現代小説裏重現的戰爭､ 疾病､ 飢餓等問題, 通過對穆時英小説的分析, 探討作品中重現的戰爭､ 疾病､ 飢餓等情況｡ 並初步探討它們在作品情節的構成和展開之中起着怎樣的作用, 以及作者把戰爭､ 疾病､ 飢餓當作小説的素材或主題的原因｡ 由於二十世紀三十年代中國現代主義小説與同時代的無產階級文學有着密不可分的關係, 本論文也試圖探討穆時英的小説與無產階級文學的相互影響關係｡
