AB - ≪新民叢報≫是一部二十世紀初中國的最有影響力的雜志｡ 這部雜志曾經被稱爲創造新時代和新的一代的雜志｡ 這篇論文擬分析≪新民叢報≫的曆史上意義和性質, 主要從兩個方面上探討｡ 一是從雜志的體例和作家的類型分析雜志的特征和面貌, 二是從＜新民說＞的內在的邏輯闡釋≪新民叢報≫思想和政治觀念的變化｡ 作爲其結果, 關於≪新民叢報≫的性質, 這篇論文得到如下看法: 一, 中國第一個國民雜志, 二, 現代性的教養雜志, 三, 該雜志的宗旨只能適合於1904年以前的≪新民叢報≫｡ 還有, 這篇論文進一步說明≪新民叢報≫對中國和東亞地區, 尤其是朝鮮和越南的愛國啟蒙運動的影響｡
