AB - 1923年2月, ≪婦女雜誌≫上刊出了一篇題爲≪我自己的婚姻史≫的文章. 這篇文章的主要內容是東海大學鄭振勳敎授講述的自己的離婚經過. 主要描述了與舊式妻子無法交流的痛苦. 鄭敎授在文章中將自己離婚的原因歸結爲“沒有愛情”. ＜我自己的婚姻史＞刊出後, 引發了一場熱烈的討論, 讀者的來信很多, 編緝特別刊出了＜對於鄭振壎君婚姻史的批評＞, 這些來信能較爲全面地反映出當時男性知識人與舊式妻子之間存在的愛情觀上的差異.
‘戀愛’是1920年代很有代表性的以新知識人爲主追求的思想觀念, 但西方式的‘戀愛’是對於當時中國人來說, 是通過“學習”才能懂, 一般的傳統婦女很難了解的一個觀念｡ 鄭敎授的離婚史反映出一個傳統的觀念與西方式的‘戀愛’形式之間相互衝突的問題. 鄭敎授的舊式妻子雖然以傳統的方式表達愛情, 但因爲表達感情(‘戀愛’)的方式已被規範化, 鄭敎授覺得妻子不懂‘感情’, 很不滿於她不懂西方式‘戀愛’的現實｡ 新時代出現的‘戀愛’表現出近代社會裏個體追求新生活的慾望, 在此與前時代的“情”完全不同. 當時知識分子以啓蒙者的立場去盡力教傳統婦女‘戀愛’, 其目的是培養‘近代人’｡
