AB - In modern Chinese, ILS state verb which expresses attributes or relationship, SLS state verb which expresses psychology, strong continuous activity verb which has relatively weak dynamic, and state adjective cannot have ‘le₂’. However, when they express a semantic structure matching the semantic function of ‘le₂’ by combining with other components, their combination with ‘le₂’ is available again. Also, the sentences, which can express ‘entrance into new state’, ‘excessive base’, ‘positive base’ or ‘reporting base’ through appearance of ‘le₂’, accord with the condition of appearance of ‘le₂’ in terms of semantic function. In addition, although nondirective amount component's appearance in object or complement can limit the appearance of ‘le₂’, ‘le₂’ may or may not appear according to accompanied adverbial phrase.
