ABSTRACT

This article examines the influence of the Chinese Dream on the intellectual’s discourse with the Xi jinping administration. As a result of the study, First, Chinese society has progressed to conservatism and traditionalism after the administration of Xi jingping. Next, Chinese Dream was a factor promoting this flow. In other words, in terms of time, Chinese Dream is an independent variable of Chinese intellectual discourse topography change, but it is difficult to see it as the main one. In contrast, the movement of Chinese intellectual discourse topography since 2000 has been one of the independent variables. Rather, the main driver is the rise of China in the international community due to the rise of national power, and the internal and external approval of it. The most important reason of this judgment is the fact that the conservatism and the traditionalism flow existed and strengthened in the Chinese intellectual discourse in the 2000s.
