ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to explore the educational values and significance of Qin Shi-Huang based on his life and achievements. In doing so, we will look at the educational value of Qin Shi-Huang, who was excluded from the educational perspective, and contribute to broadening the horizon of Chinese education studies. To achieve the purpose of this study, we first looked at the life of Qin Shi-Huang. The researchers looked at the life of Qin Shi-hwang in an objective and realistic way, trying to clearly understand his mistake. There are many new discoveries in Qin Shi-Huang as a historical character from a balanced perspective, away from the negative view of Qin Shi-hwang. In this regard, it was intended to derive the educational impact and value of Qin Shi-Huang. Qin Shi-Huang, who unified China, unified not only national territory but also laws, institutions, and text messages. This directly and indirectly influenced education and greatly influenced the development and advancement of later China. The study noted that, thousands of years later, Qin Shi-hwang was inspired to be spoken in many people’s mouths, while educational significance was felt through life as a teacher. Therefore, we wanted to see what he could learn not only from his strengths but also from his weaknesses. As this study shows, the assessment of the Qin Shi-hwang is skewed. Based on the achievements and influences of Qin Shi-Huang, we need to inherit his strengths and watch out for faults. Through these studies, we look forward to an educational reassessment of Qin Shi-Huang in the future.
