ABSTRACT

This paper restored the original work by analyzing the bibliography of “Yeongsambyeolgok”. “Yeongsambyeolgok” is a Travel-Gasa about Okso Kwon Seop’s travel experience in 1704. There is still no source criticism of “Yeongsambyeolgok”. The current “Yeongsambyeolgok” is a work that has been changed and damaged by descendants. Therefore, the source criticism, which is the basis for the study of the work, was conducted in Chapter 2. Based on the results of the original criticism, the work was restored in Chapter 3. The research results in Chapter 2 are as follows. Currently, the following literature characteristics have been found in “Yeongsambyeolgok”. The contents were revised by adding paper to the original paper. While cutting the implementation elsewhere, it was added, resulting in an illusion. Someone tore or cut the off original paper. For a long time, the folded part was unfolded, and the earlobes were disturbed by folding other parts. Poetic diction was found in the parts that were torn or cut. According to the literary nature of the original papers of Chumyeongji (추명지) where “Youngsambyulgok” was transcribed and Kwon Seop’s desire for “Yeongsambyeolgok”, the deficit in “Youngsambyulgok” is presumed to be the damage to others. The part that was transcribed on the original paper of Chumyeongji is the appearance of the original when the rewriting of the original was completed. The volume of restored work is a total of 135 lines. A total of three more trials have been discovered due to this paper. The acquired trials were also caught immediately. The location of the lost part was revealed. The restoration results are in the appendix. This allows you to know the original or the appearance close to the original. The three representative significances of this paper are as follows. First, the reality of the original work was revealed, and issues and literature problems were resolved. Second, as a travel lyric, some of the journeys of “Yeongsambyeolgok” became concrete and clear. Third, as the journey became clear, the foundation for s deeper understanding of the work’s verisimilitude was laid. As a result, it is expected that Kwon Seop, who left detailed travel experiences for over 60 years as a writer and seasoned traveler who specialized in travel in the early 18th century, an understanding of his travel will be enriched.
