In this study, we propose a plan to reflect LRM in various library-related standards or systems through analyzing the reflection of LRM in RDA. To this end, LRM and RDA 2020 were analyzed in terms of entities, relationships, attributes, and encoding schemes. First of all, for the mapping of entities, relationships, and attributes, all properties and relationships were extracted for each entity of RDA, LRM elements corresponding to each property and relationship were found and mapped, and encoding schemes were additionally compared. As a result, the things to consider in the standards and systems to which LRM is to be applied are: first, entities development considering the LRM hierarchy; second, new relation or shortcut path relation development; third, attributes expansion according to the entities considering the LRM hierarchical structure, and fourth, the development of various encoding scheme. Through this study, it will be possible to find an application plan using the application of RDA as a model in standards or systems to accept LRM.

The library tour program is a new type of cultural program that was first introduced and operated by J City, and library tourists travel to specialized libraries in the city according to a set course and experience various experiences. This study aims to build a customized course recommendation model that considers the characteristics of individual participants in addition to the existing fixed group travel format so that more users can enjoy the opportunity to participate in library tours. To this end, the characteristics of library travelers were categorized to establish traveler personas, and library evaluation items and evaluation criteria were established accordingly. We selected 22 libraries targeted by the library travel program and measured library data through actual visits. Based on the collected data, we derived the characteristics of suitable libraries and developed a persona-based library tour course recommendation model using a decision tree algorithm. To demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed recommendation model, we build a mobile application mockup, and conducted user evaluations with actual library users to identify satisfaction and improvements to the developed model.

The purpose of all public libraries is to provide knowledge and information services for the intellectual and reading activities of local residents, program services that provide opportunities for cultural enjoyment and lifelong learning, and third-party spaces and facilities that contribute to the development of the community. To this end, social needs must be reflected in a timely manner with the establishment of a sound infrastructure as a prerequisite. This study analyzed the current status centered on key indicators of the public libraries in Daegu City and presented policy issues that need to be improved through a survey. The key indicators in Daegu City, compared to the national average, were not only significantly weak for the 3rd largest city but also showed considerable variation among local governments. While Daegu citizens valued public libraries in their daily lives, the dissatisfaction rate was high in the order of transportation inconvenience, lack of necessary materials and desired programs, and various regulations. Therefore, Daegu City should focus on increasing the acquisition budget, strengthening the development of new book collections, expanding the number of librarians, expanding the construction of public libraries to address service disparities among local governments, improving accessibility, and addressing factors that hinder usage. In addition, with the establishment and operation of the Daegu Library in 2024, efforts should be made to establish an operational system for public libraries, expand the scope through collaborative partnerships with other knowledge and cultural institutions, and enhance knowledge and cultural services for the Daegu citizen.
