AB - The purpose of this study is to investigate the teaching competency level of professor and to suppose the strategies and policy issues for improving teacher librarian education system in Korea. This study was carried out to measure teaching competency of teacher librarian. This study participated by 120 elementary schools and secondary teacher librarian. The questionnaire consisted of 52 items for measuring teaching competencies of teacher librarian divided into nine area competencies. Based on the analysis results of this study, It was suggested the revision strategies of teacher education system.
