ABSTRACT

Although Korean university library budgets heavily support e-resources, research on international electronic resource utilization remains limited. This study analyzes the relationship between international e-resource usage and research performance across disciplines using quantitative methods. Subscription and usage varied by field, with engineering, natural sciences, and medicine showing strong correlations between downloads and outcomes, as well as statistically significantly higher usage and performance than humanities and social sciences. These findings provide baseline data for optimizing e-resource policies and support services.
