So far, There have been few studies in Korea which focus on the smart grid consumer engagement. Therefore, we carried out an literature review in terms of smart grid consumer engagement and tried to suggest related policy implications. As a result, we identified key influencing factors such as monetary benefits, environment-friendly characteristics, cyber security and understanding of smart grid.
