AB - This paper suggests new solutions for the problems of socially underprivileged groups, using ubiquitous technology and services in a u-City. Through the status analysis of socially underprivileged groups, u-service models were derived. u-Health service for the aged, u-Safety service for children, guide service for the blind, u-Work service for pregnant women and life support service for immigrant married women, u-Learning service and u-Call Taxi service for all the people suggested. U-services for socially underprivileged groups are not only for a small minority but for many people that comprise 30 percent of the population.
