AB - The goal of this paper is to check the different meanings and functions of ‘eul/leul’ in the multiple ‘eul/leul’ constructions. If ‘eul/leul’ is replaced by ‘ui’, the prepositioned ‘eul/leul’ phrase is the result of topicalization. Specially ‘ui’ phrase is related to noun in collocation and ‘ui’ phrase is also related to the transitivity of predicative noun. But the irreplaceable prepositioned ‘eul/leul’ phrase is considered as the objective phrase of different level. If the prepositioned ‘eul/leul’ phrase can't admit the substitution for ‘ui’ phrase, such ‘eul/leul’ phrase may be considered as objective phrase. The postpositioned ‘eul/leul’ phrase and verb construct collocation. As the verb is a transitive verb, then the postpositioned ‘eul/leul’ phrase is surely an objective phrase.
