AB - A Study on the Negotiation Process of the 1905 Convention Treaty: The Reanalysis of Historical Records on the Revision of the Treaty Japanese Government had prepared two different versions of drafts and bribed the officials. However, considering the original records, it has been revealed that the documents themselves were both original and the revision. Therefore there were not two versions of documents, but only one. In addition, regarding different handwritings, uniqueness of amendments, and other examples of treaties, the revision would be the result of retrospective application of the opinions expressed by the officials. Based on these grounds, it can be concluded that the treaty was revised at the final moment of negotiation process of the 1905 Convention Treaty.
