ABSTRACT

Unification is a task that must be solved in order to pursue practical interests and right for the people of the Korean peninsula. However, unless sufficient communication between South Korea and North Korea is premised, it is difficult to achieve unification in a peaceful way. Even if it is unified by various external factors, it will be another cause of conflict, if the people do not have communication attitude. Therefore, communication should be preconditioned in order to achieve peaceful unification and to prepare for the problems that will arise after unification. However, as can be seen from the experience, if we stick to conventional method, it is difficult to expect substantial progress in communication between the two Koreas. Therefore, human-to-human communication of human beings is proposed as a solution. Therefore, this paper first examines the meaning and method of human communication, and examines how it can be applied to the context of North and South Korea. This study will help us to find new directions for communication between the two Koreas and we hope that it will have a positive effect on the reunification of the two Koreas.
