ABSTRACT

This study aims to propose strategies for utilizing edutech to enhance art appreciation skills among high school students in Korea, reflecting the characteristics of the country's art education environment. To this end, the study derives the concept and components of edutech suitable for art appreciation classes and analyzes the needs of high school education settings to develop the strategies. In the introductory phase, collaborative tools(e.g., Padlet, Jamboard) are used to appreciate and visualize works related to social and environmental themes. In the advanced phase, interactive quizzes and feedback tools are employed to strengthen exploratory appreciation skills. In the summary and evaluation phase, creative expression tools are utilized to guide students in reconstructing their appreciation outcomes. This strategy aims to enhance the effectiveness of art appreciation education by providing tools tailored to the actual stages of classroom instruction.
