ABSTRACT

This study is to explore effects of leadership types on job satisfaction and turnover intention in hotel enterprises. For the purpose, this study selected employees and managers of five gold-plate five-star hotels and three green- plate five-star hotels located in the metropolitan area as the research subjects. The analysis results are as follows. For Hypothesis 1 supposing that leadership affects job satisfaction, only servant leadership type affected salary satisfaction in the relationship between the 1-1 leadership type and salary satisfaction. As for the relationship between 1-2 and 1-3 leadership types and management satisfaction and performance satisfaction, it was found that all factors of the leadership types had a significant effect. As a test result of Hypothesis 2 supposing that leadership type of hotel enterprises affects turnover intention, it was found that transactional leadership and servant leadership had influence on turnover intention. As a test result of Hypothesis 3 supposing that job satisfaction of a hotel enterprise affects turnover intention, all factors of job satisfaction affected turnover intention
