ABSTRACT

This study conducted positive analysis on the effects of buffet restaurant managers' servant leadership on organizational effectiveness in the area of Busan. Nowadays servant leadership is being highlighted as the most desirable leadership. Lately, research has been frequently conducted on servant leadership in hotels and food service industry: however, it has hardly dealt with buffet restaurants out of food service industry. Most of the advanced research reports that servant leadership affects employees' job satisfaction and organizational commitment positively. According to the result of this study, servant leadership is analyzed into two factors: the vision provision type and the member consideration type. And it has found that servant leadership affects job satisfaction and organizational commitment positively. Also, job satisfaction affects organizational commitment positively. In particular, the member consideration type affects job satisfaction more greatly. And the vision provision type affects organizational commitment more greatly.
