ABSTRACT

This study observes the relationship between participation motivation and satisfaction of field employees and applies the concept of DISC behavior type to prove the differences among the different behavior types for the effective management. The result is like followings. First of all, the most common DISC behavior type of field employees is Dominance type(D). Secondly, the participation motivation and satisfaction of the field employees shows differences according to DISC behavior types. As for participation motivation, the distinctive differences are found in two factors : career development and self advancement. D type is the best type who develops their career and self advancement, and conscientiousness type(C) follows it. In terms of satisfaction, each type shows the different results and D type indicates the highest average value. Thirdly, participation motivation of the field employees shows the positive influence relationship. The motivation for self advancement does not reveal the statistically meaningful relationship but the motivation for career development and pleasure affects the positive relationship about reward and recognition. The study has several limitations. Lack of diversified MICE sampling and interim exploratory scale.
