AB - In the history of the Chinese fiction, the “West Lake”fiction is a very special category named with a geographic sign. As a very famous kind of fiction, the scene depicted in the ficion, the characters shaped in the fiction and the polt created in the fiction are so closely related with the West Lake, which is very well known for its beautiful landscape. Since the West Lake is the most romantic landscape in the Chinese culture, the literature works gestated from the West Lake culture should also be filled with the polychrome romantic sentiment. This article will focus on the landscape commited by the sentiment, the characters with full affection and nature, and the love stories with lingering passion to explain the romantic sentiment with so much poetry and fantastic that expressed in the “West Lake”fiction.
