AB - 清末葉德辉的《书林清话》是在中国版本目錄学上第一部系统的, 集中探讨有關書籍外型與內容價值的专著. 其内容涉及了文獻学的各個方面, 而且徵引了大量的文獻史料, 并且对这些文獻史料进行了考辨. 因此《书林清话》是研究中国古代書籍的開山之作, 還记载了一些著名刻书家、藏书家的逸闻趣事, 又了表述有關书贾、写工、装订工及钞书女子等等的細節問題. 就給後學研究古代校书、刻书、抄书、卖书、藏书及书坊的情况提供了豐富的资料和线索. 葉德辉在引用史料时, 多附加自己的心得與評语, 又纠正补缺, 有助於古籍研究者. 所以本論文重视对明清以來《书林清话》的學術意義, 還評述其書的缺點與疏失, 就叫現在文獻学研究具有重要的启示意义。
