AB - 随着书写女性的增加与才女观念的流行，早慧少女的形象越来越受关注，同时传统的才女福薄轮的说法也失去其效力. 叙述女作家时，强调家学渊源，逐渐成为该时代的叙述模式. 少女的夙慧往往被归结为家学渊源于教育得當，而且人们对女性教育的观念也有所变化. 兼备文学才华和经史知识的女儿可以成为一个宗族的骄傲，而新的才女形象的大量出现也与清中期以来的家学文化的发展紧紧联系在一起. 但我们还得注意，现实上的变化有时仍跟不上观念上的变化. 经过19世纪，女性开始公然表示在阅读经典、诗文以外的读物，而这样的变化也牵涉到女性教育的现实与理想之间的距离. 不少女性已具有识字能力，但还不及吟咏唱和的水平，自然会喜爱杂传、弹词小说等通俗性較强的读物. 这样的变化背后可能还隐藏着恶劣的女性教育现实和美好的“才女”理想之间存在的落差.
