AB - 古代農業社會裏，桑林祭祀是祈祷農作物的豊收和祈祷繁衍子嗣的祭祀。神话传说中少 昊⋅伊尹⋅孔子等的誕生都與桑樹有密切关系。當時，举行祈雨和祈子祭祀的同时，也要举 行男女交合仪式。這形成了男女可以自由交往的习俗.
採桑是“后妃齋戒，親東鄕躬桑”的國家性的主要儀式。高禖祭祀是以求雨和祈子爲目的之 儀式。此时靑春男女在桑林随意野合，是爲了農作物豊收和人口繁衍的虔诚和神聖的儀式。 子孫繁衍⋅人口增加⋅國力增强關係着國家與人們個個的生存。所以高禖祭祀時國家獎勵自 由交合。在桑中⋅桑林⋅桑社野合风俗是普遍的。这种交合，并不是像现在人们視为淫乱 的，是爲了人類的生存而擧行的高禖祭祀裏的一种仪式。本文考察的少昊⋅伊尹⋅孔子都通 過這種儀式而誕生。因此，‘桑中⋅桑林⋅桑社’可說爲生命誕生的神聖的地方。
