ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to examine the structural relationship among college students' career decision-relatedness, career barriers and career preparation behavior. To do this, a questionnaire survey was performed in 495 college students from seven university in Seoul and Gyonggi-Do. Statistical methods used for data analysis were the SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 19.0. Study results were as follows: First, career decision-relatedness, career barriers and career preparation behavior showed difference among grades. Second, career decision-relatedness, career barriers and career preparation behavior were statistically significantly related to one another. Third, there were significant direct and indirect effects from career decision-relatedness to career barriers and career preparation behavior. These results indicated the significant role of career decision- relatedness on college students' career preparation behavior.
