AB - This article summarizes the contents of historical and cultural resources scattered in Sanyang-ri, Sangseo-myeon, Hwacheon gun, and discusses how to use them. Since this place, one of the representative DMZ border areas of Korea, was a civilian controlled area, the detailed reality of historical and cultural resources in the region has not been known.
The specificity of the border region adjacent to the DMZ, the life culture formed by soldiers who make up the majority of the local population, and historical and cultural resources scattered in the region exist here. Recently, the DMZ border region is promoting regional revitalization in terms of peace, security, culture, history, and ecotourism. Sanyang-ri, Sangseo-myeon, Hwacheon-gun, needs a plan to utilize and specialize in various cultural assets in the region while benchmarking this trend. This article deals with these contents.
