ABSTRACT

In this article, I would like to explore a little further the proper direction and existing problems of humanistic education which correctional public service producing agency and protection public service producing agency including prison and reformatory have put into operation for correction of prisoner for a long time by path-dependence. As space is limited, I concentrated on the discussion to the humanistic education which is involved in prison and reformatory. First of all, I discussed the basic concept and organization mechanism of correctional public service agency and protection public service agency. Therefore, I raised my critical stance about humanistic education of correctional public service agency and protection public agency against the existing study. I discussed the content of humanistic education program in prison and reformatory. The proper direction and problems of humanistic education program can be classified into five main groups : beginning time, operation body, client, content, assessment.
