AB - This study aims to explore the relationships between policy of filial piety(HYO) Encouragement and Aid And Social Welfare Policy for Elder. For this purpose, to define the filial piety(HYO) and classify that behavior is examined at first. And then, identified the relationships for the policy of filial piety(HYO) encouragement and aid and the social welfare policies for elder respectively. Results show that the relationships are complemental for each other. Implications for this study is to provide the basic research data for additional suggestions for improvements of the policy of filial piety(HYO) encouragement and aid which are related with the social welfare policies for elder, with additions for past ones. And suggested the future study for in the basis of contemporary meanings & directions of the filial piety(HYO).
