AB - The purpose of this study is to examine the reflection of the personality factor in the Korean language curriculum of middle school in the 2015 revised curriculum, and to find out what personality competencies to strengthen in the Korean language course education. To this end, based on the achievement standards of each area of the middle school Korean language curriculum of the 2015 revised curriculum, teaching and learning methods, and notes, the personal dimension (self-respect, self-control, self-reflection) and interpersonal dimension(respect for others, empathy, communication), and community dimension(responsibility, participation consciousness).
The results are as follow.
First, the core competencies of personality that appeared in the Korean language and personality of the 2015 revised curriculum are self-respect, self-control, self-reflection, respect for others, communication, and responsibility.
Second, the core competencies of character in the Korean language and achievement standards of middle school are different in each area, but mainly in the personal and interpersonal dimensions.
Third, the core competencies of personality related to teaching and learning methods and precautions in the Korean language and curriculum of middle school include all personality competencies at the individual, interpersonal, and community dimensions.
As a result, the Korean language curriculum of middle school shows a lot of personal and interpersonal personality skills, so it is necessary to present achievement standards and teaching and learning methods to foster community-dimension personality capabilities.
