A study is for the evaluation and feedback on development and operation of the first global citizen outdoor camp(no. 4298) applying the goal of sustainable development. First, the adoption of SDGs as a camp theme is meaningful, but it is the first implementation, so it needs a lot of supplement. Secondly, outdoor activities were carried out indoors. Third, a program should be complemented to enhance the willingness of the individual to meet the purpose of global citizen education. Fourth, participant adolescents had low world orientation among the global citizen consciousness. Based on these assessments, the following should be improved. First, we complement the Ice Breaking activities that encourage groups to organize as greetings as in camps, and reinforce Bindi Games, which is anti-discrimination activity. Second, we start the camp with greetings of various countries as the name of the camp called "World and Outdoor" suggest, and strengthen outdoor activities such as refugee experience hiking, my commitment, and outdoor cooking. Third, we include the time of commitment in meditation in nature. Fourth, it complements the opportunity to expand beyond the state and into humanity so that participants can improve their low world orientation. Based on the above improvement directions, the 2nd Global Citizen Outdoor Camp is suggested to include greetings of various countries of ice breaks, the Bindi games, consensus-building activities, global citizen festivals, and the refugee experience hiking. The camp should be supplemented by outdoor hiking and meditation. Finally, the limitations of this study are that the number of cases is small, but only to the content of the camp that was once conducted.

Religious Reflection on Unification: Recovery of Homogeneity

    Park, Junghwan | 2017, (55) | pp.51~69 | number of Cited : 0
    Abstract PDF
This thesis focuses on the reflection on unification which is seen from the religious perspective. The paper emphasized that Koreans were homogeneous before division and that unification of the Korean peninsula should prepare for unification under the assumption that this homogeneity can be regained again. It is the main argument of this essay to examine the spirituality and religiosity shared by Koreans and restore this spirituality. The Koreans had a mysterious Tao(道) that included three religion -confucianism, buddhism, taoism- before the entrance of the three religion. This article examines how homogeneity that Koreans have in common changes in the South and the North. This homogeneity based on Han-thought has been transformed into a different form in the divided North and South. While it evolved in the form of Juche Ideology(주체사상) in North Korea, in South Korea it has progressed in the form of prosperity of Christianity. I have shown that the divided North and South identities can eventually be brought together again. The main objective of this paper in preparing for unification is to contribute to the unification of the subjects of the two Koreas by restoring the homogeneity that the Koreans had before the division.

    Abstract PDF
For China which wants to be a powerful state, diplomacy already became an important means to raise the national profit. China currently need "powerful nation diplomacy". One nation's diplomatic competence is deeply related to its national power, and at the diplomatic circumstance, the competence is totally up to the ability of diplomatic elite. China is one of the powerful nations that influences Korea peninsula. However, we barely know anything related to China diplomacy and China's diplomatic elites. Sometimes the background and tendency of China's head and deputy head diplomatic department are introduced through media but it does not show which relational structure China has. We must know composition of China diplomacy team in order to resolve diplomatic issue of East Asia and Korean peninsula. This thesis analyzes the relationships of China's diplomatic elites, who are legislating and practicing China's diplomatic policy. The thesis also compares and analyzes network of diplomatic elites in the period of Hu Jintao and Xi Jinping with Social Network Analysis(SNA) method. According to the results, at the period of Hu Jintao, the diplomatic elite network was homogeneous structure. In contrast, the diplomatic elite network of Xi Jinping period was with diplomats who has diverse background and expertise. This is the evidence that shows the control of China's Communist party over the diplomatic department has been reinforced in the period of Xi Jinping.
