AB - Recently, the incidence of international marriage has been increasing in Korea. As multi-cultural families are also increasing and will continue to do so, Korea society has to prepare actively for a multi-cultural society from an ational point of view. Therefore, this study investigated the various factors via which the multi-cultural family influences Korea society, in order to prepare the correct policies. This study also analyzed the effect of these factor son Korea society:' the view of foreign immigrant's,' understanding the multi-cultural family','perceptions about taking recognition to be a Korean','view of homo geneous nation and a multinational nation','opinions about social conflicts', and 'perceptions about government policies'.
The study results are as follows. First, the political category in the influence of the multi-cultural family in Korean society was affected by 'understanding the multi-cultural family', 'opinions about social conflicts', and 'perceptions about government policies'(p<.05). Second, the economical category was affected by 'views of foreign immigrants', 'understanding the multi-cultural family', 'opinions about social conflicts', and 'perceptions about government policies'(p<.05). Third, the social category was affected by 'understanding the multi-cultural family', 'perceptions about taking recognition to be a Korean', 'opinions about social conflicts', and 'perceptions about government policies'(p<.05). Fourth, the cultural category was affected by 'understanding the multi-cultural family', 'opinions about social conflicts', and 'perceptions about government policies'(p<.05).
