The study methodology that was used to analyze the results was based on the secondary statistical data. As a result of the study, localized differences existed in the local social capital in Korea between Gwangju and Busan metropolitan cities and political and historical channels of social capital were found. Based on such findings, the study found various implications that can be used to accumulate local social capital in Korea.
