ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to analyze the user experience of an anonymous counseling application and explore ways to improve it. To this end, a System Usability Scale and an In-depth Interview were conducted to understand the characteristics of anonymous counseling applications and the factors that affect users' negative experiences in order to increase user satisfaction and derive specific improvement measures. The results of the study showed that users are uncomfortable using the application mainly because of the indiscriminate advertisements. Second, users said that the application should simplify the complex menus and focus on the purpose of counseling. Third, the lack of professionalism in the counseling service prevents users from getting the answers they want. Fourth, users said that the quality of the application needs to be improved to improve the user experience through continuous updates and new features. Based on these findings, we would like to suggest ways to develop a more effective counseling application and improve the service.
