ABSTRACT

This study examined the mediating effect of career preparation behavior on the relationship between the influence of others and career future among university students. A total of 152 participants were surveyed, and the data were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 26.0. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation modeling (SEM) were conducted. The results indicated significant positive correlations among the influence of others, career preparation behavior, and career future. Furthermore, SEM results confirmed that career preparation behavior partially mediates the relationship between the influence of others and career future. These findings underscore the importance of positive social influences—such as emotional support and role modeling—in fostering students' career preparation behavior and strengthening their future career perspectives.
