AB - The purpose of this study is to verify the effectiveness of the digital sprout education program on parents of middle school students in the Chungcheong and Gangwon regions. The main research results of the pre- and post-test using a paired sample t-test were as follows. First, the interest in SW·AI of middle school students who participated in the Digital Sprout Camp program and the interest in SW·AI of middle school parents had a significant effect at .000 ((p<.001) in the pre- and post-test. Second, the learning achievement of middle school parents who participated in the Digital Sprout Camp program and the expectations and satisfaction with SW·AI were statistically significantly improved in the pre- and post-test. Third, the achievement expectations of parents of middle school students who participated in the Digital Sprout Camp program significantly improved in the pre- and post-tests. Fourth, the satisfaction with SW·AI of parents of middle school students who participated in the Digital Sprout Camp program significantly improved in the pre- and post-tests. By revealing the effectiveness of the Digital Sprout Project education program through the results of this study, we can provide better SW·AI education to middle school students and play an important role in increasing parents’ interest in their children’s SW·AI education.
