AB - The importance of generative AI-based text automation technologies is increasing in the context of design research, as they enable simultaneous enhancement of creativity and efficiency. This study aims to examine how such technologies affect user behavior and perceived creativity. To achieve this, an empirical analysis was conducted based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Kano model, statistically investigating how perceived usefulness, ease of use, and functional satisfaction influence users’ behavioral intention and creative perception. The results show that both perceived usefulness and ease of use have a significant positive effect on behavioral intention, and that satisfaction with specific features also contributes positively to intention formation. Additionally, the mediating role of behavioral intention in creative expression was empirically confirmed. These findings suggest that generative AI technologies serve not only as practical tools but also as cognitive facilitators that support creative thinking and problem solving. Furthermore, the application of the Kano model provides a practical framework for user experience (UX) evaluation, offering valuable insights for AI tool design, UX enhancement, and design education and practice.
