ABSTRACT

This study empirically analyzes the impact of various work arrangements—remote, office-based, and hybrid work—on workplace efficiency. Using the Job Satisfaction Model and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as theoretical frameworks, data were collected through surveys and in-depth interviews. The analysis revealed that hybrid work provided the highest level of job satisfaction due to its balance between work autonomy and feedback mechanisms. In contrast, remote work offered flexibility and convenience but posed challenges in communication and limited opportunities for professional growth. Office-based work demonstrated strengths in fast decision-making and collaboration, yet lower autonomy was identified as a factor negatively influencing satisfaction. Additionally, the frequency of collaboration tool usage(Slack, Google Chat/Meet, Microsoft Teams) and the level of technology acceptance were found to significantly impact workplace efficiency and job satisfaction. These findings suggest that organizations should consider not only the flexibility of work locations but also technological infrastructure, communication strategies, and employees’ psychological satisfaction when designing work arrangements.
