ABSTRACT

This study aims to examine the relationships among organizational support perception, self-efficacy, social support, and service quality among personal assistants for persons with disabilities. A total of 353 personal assistants providing activity support services in the northern region of Gyeonggi Province (Uijeongbu, Yangju, and Dongducheon) participated in the survey, and 303 responses were analyzed. Data were processed using SPSS Statistics 26 and AMOS 26, employing frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability testing, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling. The results indicated that organizational support perception had a significant positive effect on self-efficacy and social support, and both variables played important roles in enhancing service quality. Furthermore, self-efficacy and social support demonstrated mediating effects in the relationship between organizational support perception and service quality, highlighting the importance of psychological and social resources in improving service performance. These findings suggest that systematic organizational support and the provision of psychological and social resources are essential for enhancing the quality of services provided by personal assistants for persons with disabilities.
