ABSTRACT

This study investigates the differences in user experience between the “Favorite” and “Shopping Cart” functions in fashion shopping applications, based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A combination of surveys with 120 participants and in-depth interviews with six users was conducted to compare perceived usefulness, ease of use, satisfaction, and intention to continue using each function. The analysis revealed that for the shopping cart, both satisfaction and ease of use significantly influenced continued usage. In contrast, for the favorite function, only ease of use showed a meaningful effect. While users viewed the two features as complementary, their actual use caused confusion due to overlapping purposes, unclear pathways for product transition, and insufficient UI/UX design. The findings provide practical implications for feature enhancement and UX strategy development, offering foundational insights for user experience research in the fashion e-commerce sector.
