The investigations on the circulative system of the self-guarding energy and demon in the 『Huang Di Xia Mo Jing』can be summarized as follows. First avoidance of the contraindications according to the age is referring to the alterations of whereabouts of the self-guarding energy and demon according to the age, and avoid needling the area in which the self-guarding energy and demon are resident. this method of avoidance have a period of nine years. Second method is the avoidance of the contraindications according to the vigorous energy in the four seasons and five subdivisions of the year. this types of vigorous energy is included in the five Zang(conservation) organs. there are the dominant and vigorous meridians at the every 72 days of five subdivisions of the year, and the contraindications in acupuncture and moxibustion on this meridians. The third method is the avoidance of the contraindications according to the most weakened energy in the four seasons and five subdivisions of the year. It is the contraindications in acupuncture and moxibustion on the Zang meridians in the state of the most weakened energy. The fourth method is the avoidance of the contraindications according to whereabouts of the self-guarding energy and demon in a specific day or time. there are 4 kinds of the contraindicationg in this type, that is, 4 kinds of periodicities in every 30 days, 60 days, 12 days, and 24 hours. the self-guarding energy and demon circulate through the areas of whole body by the periodicities and exist in the specific area at the specific day or time. It is the contraindications in acupuncture and moxibustion on these specific areas.

Sun~Si~Miao(孫思邈) is known to everybody as a great medical doctor. He has written two famus books. Those are the Qian~Jin~Yao~Fang(『千金要方』) and the Qian~Jin~Yi~Fang(『千金翼方』). He had a faith on pediatrics. He said that since child is basis of society, we must take care of child. So he has written three parts of the books on Pediatrics theory. So I summarized pediatrics theory in two books and decomposed reason of disease and method of medical treatment. Also I compared with Xiao~Pin~Fang(『小品方』), Zhu~Bing~Yuan~Hou~Lun(『諸病源候論』) and pediatrics text book. In conclusion, I have known that Sun~Si~Miao's pediatrics theory is consist of useful and various substance.

Through the investigations of the study about the circulative system of Ki(vltal energy) and blood. in the 『Huang Di Nei Jing-the internal scripture of Yellow Emperor』, it is summarize as follows: First, on the circulative system of the nutritive energy and constructive energy, the 28 traditional constellations is corresponding with the 28 kinds of pulses in the 28 areas of the whole human body. therefore, the acupuncture meridians are continuously circulated according to the respiration and the times and seasons. Also, they have applied it to diagnostic and treating procedures, and have primarily performed the comparative palpations between entrance of pulse(radial artery) and common carotid artery, and various treatments such as "the reduction of the excessive and reinforcement of the deficient: the insertion and rapidly extracting the needle in the feverish condition. and the insertion and retaining the needle in the chilly condition; the moxibustion on the hollowed cutaneous areas: in the case of neither the excessive nor the deficient, therapeutic points are located in the regular meridians." Secondly, There might had been many theories about the circulative system of the defensive Ki(vital energy). but all they were in the categorical concepts of the correspondence between the heaven and the human being, that is, the activity of the defensive Ki(vital energy) is corresponding to the times and seasons. They had proposed some fundamental rules of the treatment, that is, if the abnormal energy's property exist in the Yang, the acupuncture treatment would be considered at the three Yang('s meridians); if the abnormal energy's property exist in the Yin, the acupuncture treatment would be considered at the three Yin('s meridians), which have affected in later ages many of the therapeutic methods in the acupuncture according to the times. Third, concerning to the avoidance of contraindication considering the circulative system of the self-guarding energy and demon, they have proposed three kind of contraindicated needling methods, which is, the contraindications of needling considered in every month and in ten days according to whereabouts of the self-guarding energy and demon, and the contraindications of needling according to Polaris position in the nine directions. It made a precedent and a foundation of the school on the contraindications of needling considering the self-guarding energy and demon.
