AB - This study is the second one in sequence of studies regarding development of service center for students with disabilities in higher education institution. In order to investigate the reality of current supporting program, there were total 207 universities and colleges surveyed in this study. Researchers divided 207 universities with two groups such as 30 universities with an independent organization as one group and 177 universities with only supporting office as the other group to test differences between groups on significant variables.
The major results from this study were as followings: 1) Many differences in plan and operation found between groups except the need of cooperation with external institution relating to employment, 2) universities with only supporting office were insufficient in supporting evaluation, living, employment, and scholarship than those services from universities with an independent organization.
