ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to provide a guidance for training and supporting of special education teachers in blended learning by identifying their roles and competencies. For this study, first, many literatures relating to teacher’s roles and competencies in online and offline learning were reviewed. Second, based on the literature review, a preliminary list of teachers’competency in the blended learning was developed. Third, the feasibility of the preliminary competency list was evaluated by four special education teachers and five educational technologist. As the results of this study, the competency list of special education teachers in the blended learning was finalized with 9 teacher roles and 73 competency items.
