ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to compare with effectiveness of Parents education program and Teachers education program for children with ADHD. Objects are 8 parents and 9 teachers in the Daegu and Gumi elementary school. Parents education program was consisted of the 4 sessions, and Teachers education program was consisted of 5 session, based on precede study and questionare to this study. The instruments used in the study were knowledge of attention deficit disorder scale, parent efficacy scale, teacher efficacy scale, Korean-ADHD Rating scale, ADHD school life adaption scale. The date were analyzed using Wilcoxon signed- rand test of nonparametric statistics. The results were as follows:Parents education program have significant consequences in improving parent’s ADHD knowledge and parent efficacy. Teachers education program have significant consequences in improving teacher’s ADHD knowledge and teacher efficacy. And both program have significant consequences in improving children with ADHD’s ADHD symptoms. Teachers education program have significant consequences in improving children with ADHD’s school life adaption.
