AB - This study asesses the effectiveness of Korean Government web sits in providing equitable and appropriate access to government web sites was evaluated. Five information contents of services, fluent operation of services, feedback mechanism, easiness of access, and design. The result showed that there are several isues for the government to address in formulating effective policy for government web sites although most information services provided by Government web sites were hig er. This article provides an overview of information policy issues to the government web sit e designers and administrators.
