AB - Useful information and knowledge are rapidly produced and spread, and if they are not conserved and managed, they may disappear in a moment, and it is time to make archives for them. In this study, focusing on social media postings of twelve public agencies in Daegu metropolitan city, the current practices were investigated, the types of the contents were defined and the characteristics of the type of contents and platforms. NVivo was used to collect social media postings. Therefore, this study confirmed that social media records need to be archived and distilled implication for archiving social media records.
